Two SIBA Awards!

We are absolutely delighted to have won two awards at the SIBA Wales and West competition at Ludlow this weekend. Over 140 beers from the region were entered into 5 categories for the event.

We won bronze awards for Cambrian Gold in the Best Bitters (4.1-4.5%) and Wheeltapper's in the Speciality Beers.

As well as the competition, we thoroughly enjoyed sampling some of the fantastic beers in the festival pub!

Ludlow Beer, Bangers and Bread!

It's Ludlow Spring Festival at Ludlow Castle this weekend - 8th & 9th May.

'With at least 140 real ales on draught from small breweries in Wales and the Marches, plus other drinks, seriously good
local sausages, proper bread, and more, you will find a great, fun atmosphere, suitable for all ages!'

Oswestry Lions Beer Festival - Fri 19th-Sun 21st March

We're really pleased to be involved with the Oswestry Lions Beer Festival again.

The festival will held in the Memorial hall. Sessions are Friday 19th 7pm - 11pm; Sat 20th 12 noon - 11pm; Sunday 12 noon - 4pm.

There will be a varied range of real ales from local breweries available. We look forward to seeing you there!

We've had a busy few weeks installing our own bottling line into the brewery. The line is now up and running and has finally allowed us to put Wheeltapper's Wheat beer and Kingston Flyer KPA into bottles! The bottles are available direct from the brewery.

Well done to Innes (brewer/dray man) who cycled an impressive 9 laps around Lake Vyrnwy yesterday - 99 miles in total!! The Lake Vyrnwy 100 Cycle Challenge was organised to raise money for the Severn Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Care. Innes was one of four riders to complete over 9 laps, narrowly missing out on the aimed for 10 laps due to the appalling weather and lack of light.

The event raised over £2000 and organiser Huw Davies is keen to repeat the event next year, albeit in the summer!

We have introduced KPA and Wheeltappers to our bottle range. This now means we have all 5 beers now available as cask and bottles.

Award Winning Bottles!

Cambrian Gold recently won the SIBA Bottled Gold category at the recent Wales & West Bottled Beer Competition; and achieved an amazing Silver in the competition overall.
